Today

In case you didn't realize, I took a long break from scrapping.   The only pictures that I have really kept up with, are back to school and birthdays.  I bought several Project Life cards, thinking that it would be easier to do, but I didn't really like it.  I use the sheets to add extra pictures to my scrapbooks, but I didn't really use the cards.  But I bought all these cards, that I need to use.  And this is what I came up with this week.  I like that they all co-ordinate, and I can just pull them out and use them on my traditional layouts.  I got this put together and finished in just under an hour.

These are not PL brand cards.

These pictures are of an after school trip to the ice cream shop.  Just an every day kinda thing for us.  I snapped these pictures with my phone.  Something else that I am not used to!

Stamps are Amy Tangerine, Thickers, and Recollections wood veneers and washi tape.  The enamel dots are Queen & Co.

Happy crafting!

Happy Halloween

I wrote in my last post how I made some orange and black bakers twine, using my Glimmer Mist.  Here is my layout that I used it on.

I used a couple of different Halloween papers.  I have to admit, I love Halloween paper, so I have several different collections!  Echo Park, Theresa Collins, and Making Memories are some of my favs.  I also used my skull washi tape, from the dollar bins at WalMart.  I'm sure you will see more of that!  Happy crafting!!

Dusting off my Glimmer Mist.

I have been working on a new Halloween layout. Yes, really. I know, I know, it's been forever since I've posted something, but I had to share this little tip.

I wanted to make a banner for my layout using bakers twine. But I didn't like the black and white on my layout which has cream. So I spayed it with my Glimmer Mist, and now I have orange and black bakers twine!!!  I sprayed it on some wax paper and rubbed it in with my fingers.  It wastes less than trying to spray it all on!  Of course, this works with any spray ink.

Happy crafting!!
