Santa's Magic Key

Here's a cute Christmas project that your kids will love!! My boys always ask me how Santa gets in our house since we do not have a chimney. So here is my answer, "He has a magic Santa key!" I picked these keys up out of the dollar bin at Michaels a few months ago. They were cute, but I wasn't exactly sure what to do with them. As Christmas started approaching, I thought that this was a great use for them! I found the tag template here. Printed it out, fussy cut around it, matted it on red cardstock, and added the key and the ribbon!! Easy, peasy, and cute!! And you can keep it on your tree as an ornament when your kids are finished with it. Happy crafting! Pin It

Snowman ornament

Here's a cute little snowman ornament that I made this week. I used acrylic paint to cover the inside, and then painted the outside. To seal it, I used a clear coat of glitter spray. A cute and easy ornament to make for the holidays! Happy crafting! Edited to add: This is a glass ornament that I found at Hobby Lobby. I poured some white paint on the inside of the ornament and made sure it was all covered. I did find out that if you are not careful while it is drying, it will continue to run. I put the face side down as it dried, so that the front would still be covered completely. I painted the cap, face, and buttons on the outside. After everything was dried, I used a glitter spray to seal the paint on the outside, otherwise it would all scratch off.
