Summer seemed to fly by this year! My boys are excited about going back to school and so am I! Last year for my oldest's teacher, I altered a 2 liter soda bottle and filled it with all kinds of goodies for her. This year, I decided on a paint can! These are so fun and easy to do. I finished this one in just under an hour. I would have finished sooner, but I was sidetracked by the tv! This is a clear can from Michael's. I wrapped a 4 inch piece of school themed printed paper around the can, added some ABC ribbon along the bottom. For the name plate, I used my Cricut with George and Basic shapes to cut a circle, and Plantin' Schoolbook for the letters and apple. Of course, what project would be complete if I didn't use my favorite white Uniball pen?! Assorted ribbons are tied to the handle. A great way to use up some of those scraps of ribbon! Inside the bucket is some notecards with her initial on it, Sharpie markers, Papermate pens, Post-It notes, Hershey Kisses, Lifesavers, magnetic memo clips, bookmarks, stickers, and a note pad. Just a little something to let her know how much I appreciate the job that she does! I hope both her and my little man have a great school year! Happy crafting!!
